I, Jeesoo Hong, was born in 1991 and am an artist based in Cologne. My works so far dealt with existing spaces in everyday life and reinterpreting their spatial narratives. In particular, renovated spaces—which contain layers of time and practicality in their architectural functions — become the main materials in my projects. By using those spaces as stages, I aim to highlight their unique characteristics, creating situational interventions through drawing, sound, installation, performance, and walk-based activities.
